Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy sets out the terms under which Sarangpur Trust Dharmshala ("we", "our", "us") handles cancellations, changes, and refunds. When you book through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or email, you agree to comply with the policy stated below.

1. Booking Confirmation

Only upon receiving the required advance payment and issuing of an official confirmation by Sarangpur Trust Dharmshala, a booking shall be considered confirmed. All bookings are subject to the availability of the room at the time of confirmation. Cancellation and refund details will be given to the guests during the booking process.

2. Guest-Initiated Cancellation

If a guest wants to cancel the booking, they need to contact us via phone, email, or WhatsApp. The management must acknowledge the cancellation request for it to be considered valid. Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made and what kind of booking it is.

3. Refund Policy

Some bookings might be fully refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable. At the time of booking, these terms are explicitly detailed. The refund amount, if any, is based on how close the cancellation date is to the scheduled check-in date. The refund amount can be reduced by the applicable service charges, transaction fees, or payment gateway charges.

4. No-Show Policy

In case a guest does not turn up on the scheduled check-in date and has not cancelled the booking beforehand, the point of reservation will be considered a “No-Show”. The guest forfeits the entire cost of the booking in such a case unless otherwise stated in the booking terms.

5. Early Check-Out

Guests availing the check-out earlier than their valid confirmed date will not receive any refund for the unutilized nights even in a case of prior intimation.

6. Cancellation by Management

Sometimes with instances like natural disasters, governmental restrictions, security concerns, or essential operational interruptions, Sarangpur Trust Dharmshala may have to cancel or modify the bookings. We will notify you of charged refund, if any, which will be made according to the applicable conditions, as soon as we are informed of such a situation.

7. Refund Processing Time

Refunds that have been granted are returned through the first method of payment wherever feasible. The time it takes for the refund to show up in the customer’s bank account depends on the banks or payment gateways and may take several days of work. Delay caused by third parties is not the responsibility of Sarangpur Trust Dharmshala.

8. Non-Refundable Charges

Some fees like payment gateway charges, service charges, or applicable taxes might not be refundable. The guests will be able to see these at the time of booking.

9. Booking Modifications

Changing the dates or modifying the booking is at the discretion of the management and might be considered as cancellation and new booking.

The guest will have to pay for the price difference if there is any due to the change of booking.

10. Policy Updates

Sarangpur Trust Dharmshala may update or revise the Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately after publication.
